Several Export Agent positions are available in Elk Grove Village, IL. These positions will be responsible for coordinating the export and movement of cargo for shippers, including the management and distribution of documents and information related to the export function.
Provide customer support to all vendors, suppliers, agents and government agencies to facilitate the export objective while ensuring accurate accounting functions relating to the billing, distribution and collection of funds.
Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and standards including ITAR, EAR, FTR and Inco Terms is desirable.
3-5 years of experience in general freight forwarding is preferred.
Basic knowledge of accounting functions is preferred.
Geodis Wilson is looking for candidates with excellent and proven customer service skills and with the ability to work independently and as members of a team.
Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and excellent interpersonal skills required.
