Description Responsible for all selling, cashiering, inventory, and customer system inquiry and entry functions inherent to the daily operations of the Verizon Plus Store.

Responsibilities: Sale of network products.

Processing of warranty returns and exchanges.

System inquiry and entry functions.

Administrative functions relative to ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory.

Merchandising.

Receipt and processing of payments for monthly telephone service, as well as direct sale purchases.

Opens and processes payments for night depository.

Operate Point of Sale terminal and balances cash drawers as required.

Prepares bank deposits, forms, and reports.

Follows all safety and security procedures as outlined in company procedures.

May have classroom training away from home location.

Normally works as scheduled by supervisor plus occasional overtime.

Qualifications: Requires strong sales skills and providing excellent customer service in a courteous and tactful manner.

Frequent and prolonged standing; frequent stooping and bending.

May be required to use a computer and keyboard.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Must be able to read and write legibly.

Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds; occasional lifting to 50 pounds.

Must be able to work any assigned hours.

Qualified candidates must pass all company required tests, a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.

Verizon Offers Hourly rate for this position is $9.

21 – $12.85. Wage credit may be granted for related work experience and/or college degree.
