We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our team in either San Diego, CA or New Jersey. The Solutions Consultant will identify, assess, and develop specific opportunities for the Accelrys’ Professional Services group by creating custom solutions for individual customers. Travel to customer sites (at times up to 20%), engaging customers’ technical staff and management in technical-level discussions can be expected.  A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the chemicals, life, or materials sciences fields or a related industry is required. Understanding of enterprise architecture and application development including knowledge of application servers, J2EE, .NET, Linux and clustering technologies, server redundancy, fail-over, clustering, grid technologies, security concerns such as LDAP and single sign-on is desired. Experience working in an environment containing Oracle 8i through 10g is preferred. BMD Missile System Simulation Developer and Analyst Job in Columbia 20723, Maryland US

Description:Apply Missile System knowledge to Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Programs, in particular design, modeling and simulation and analysis.BMD missile system design and analysis. Ability to perform system level concept trade studies and analysis as well as detailed missile design and analysis. Perform analysis using engagement level models and simulations and interpret results to understand system level sensitivities.Modeling and simulation design and development. Familiar with modern simulation design and object oriented techniques. Operate in a flexible software framework supporting multiple levels of simulation fidelity within a dynamic missile defense environment and rapid development cycle.Work with sponsors/contractors to understand and implement missile designs and candidate algorithms.Provide high visibility presentations to the sponsor at design reviews and flight test readiness reviews.Qualifications:Required: BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience in missile simulation development and analysis. Experience in simulation design and development and object-oriented programming. Ability to work closely with others in a team environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in Matlab, FORTRAN and/or C++. Desired: MS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with Aegis BMD and Standard Missile -3 (SM-3).
