This is a senior position and prior agency account management experience is a must.
Position Description Affinitive is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Account Director to manage and develop client relationships.
The ideal candidate has a background in customer-focused marketing strategy and has recent experience managing CPG or Alcohol clients.
Although the role's primary responsibility is developing client relationships the candidate will also be responsible for new business development, creative ideation, strategy and analytics.
Qualifications: · – 4-7 years account management/brand marketing experience at a digital, direct, PR or social marketing agency · – 2+ year track record of developing senior level client relationships, client references a plus · – BS/BA in Marketing or related field, MBA a plus · – Innate curiosity, with the ability to see the big picture strategy as well as be hands-on · – Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment · – Working knowledge of web and application development, web design and digital marketing is critical · – Viable candidates must demonstrate exceptional client interaction and presentation skills, a professional demeanor, thought leadership, and proactive thinking · – Ability to manage process and project management effectively and profitably · – Ability to make contributions beyond basic job requirements (eg recruiting, industry perspectives, process improvements) An entrepreneurial spirit and an innate curiosity are part of your character, you want to understand what makes things tick, from marketing, brands, consumers and culture to identify ideas that can transform businesses and inspire consumers.
