This position encompasses a wide variety of functions including design and constructability review and value engineering in the specialty area of structural or civil as appropriate. Develop seismic analysis and structural evaluation of steel and reinforced concrete structures. Perform technical review and analysis of structural designs and construction. Perform value-engineering review. Confirm that design appears fundamentally sound and address applicable codes. Review constructability of design. Must also assist estimating as required in developing estimates. Additional requirements include exceptional writing, verbal and presentation skills, AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to function effectively without close supervision.
