Position Summary:

In conjunction with the VP, Standards and Practices, the Director is responsible for ensuring that all on air content, (programming, promos, commercials) and other broadcast materials comply with regulatory and corporate policies. Continue to develop standards and practices policies for all DCI networks worldwide.

Responsibilities:

1) Review programming content to ensure compliance with Corporate Standards guidelines for both content and branding issues.
2) Enforce company standards with written notes at every stage to programming and production executives, negotiating as necessary.
3) Evaluate programs with intended audience in mind and assign V-Chip/Parental Guideline Ratings
4) Review ad sales solutions deals, and other materials as needed.
5) Review shoots on location, in addition to live events for delay coverage.
6) Assist Comm Ops/DR with commercial clearance of spot and DR ads.
7) Assist with organizational efforts of EAB, Viewer Response, and other S&P functions as needed. 8) Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years Standards & Practices experience in broadcast/cable managerial capacity.
* Strong knowledge of industry broadcast standards
