Clairon Metals has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Equipment Set-Up Techician, preferably with experience in the metal stamping industry.

The hours are 3:30pm – midnight.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: A tool & die are the components in a metal press that form the parts we manufacture.

The changeover technician removes / installs / troubleshoots these dies in a metal stamping press to form metal parts.

May operate metal stamping press as needed.

Inspects quality of parts after die change.

Works with a sense of urgency to minimize press downtime.

Minimum Experience Required: Prefer a minimum of 12 months prior experience setting dies in mfg plant.

In the absence of direct experience, must have mechanical aptitude and experience based on past work history (auto mechanic, small engine repair, etc).

Experience operating forklift is preferred.
