The person in this position will provide administrative support as well as some medical billing support to this busy medical office.

Primary responsibilities include: – Answers telephone according to protocol, direct calls, take messages and respond to inquires regarding department procedures, programs and activities- Organizes and maintains patient medical records, triages patients before visits- Schedules patient appointments into IDX and registers patients in Eagle when appropriate- Obtains appropriate referrals and pre -authorization numbers to ensure proper billing.

Assists patients with completing insurance forms when necessary- Ensures that all final reports are completed and appropriately distributed to referring physicians, medical records and filed in the department within one business day This is a full-time Monday – Friday position and is located in Brooklyn.
