Responsible for the installation of lamps, ballasts and other lighting components in various types of fixtures for a varied customer base.

Should also be able to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures.

This person will be required to work indoors on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts as well as outdoors on a bucket truck to a height up to 41'.

They must also be willing to travel out of town as required by the work.

Individual must be able to work independently and complete assignments in a responsible and timely manner.

Individual must also complete paperwork or computer input timely and accurately.

Individual is required to work within the SLS Six Point Safety Program and to maintain his/her truck and/or storage shed in a neat and organized fashion.

Role Summary/Purpose The program manager is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day leadership of the cross-functional program team in all aspects of project execution.

Essential Responsibilities – Lead a cross-functional team of Sourcing, Manufacturing, Production, Product Management, Quality and Technology members to execute a new product introduction – Provide direct management for the GE based design team members and indirect management for offsite support design team members.

- Manage program risk, schedule, and budget, product performance, quality, and cost.

- Manage design and drawing release to meet program milestones.

- Develop and execute design builds and evaluation plans to validate product performance vs. the product technical specification.

- Present weekly pulsing updates to the Range business team highlighting program status to all deliverables and key risks.

- Utilize Design for Six Sigma methodology to ensure consumer and customer CTQs are met. – Drive design for reliability and cost of quality efforts to ensure reliability and service call rate requirements are met. – Work with Range material cost out team to drive incremental margin benefits with cost out projects within the program.

- Coordinate with the manufacturing and factory teams to optimize Six Sigma Lean efforts to drive program benefits.

Your Responsibilities:
Will support a large territory consisting of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Washington. Will focus on Utilities, State & Municipalities, and Lighting Specifiers. Additionally, you will work closely with distributors, end users (customers) and Philips Lighting account managers, providing product training and conducting presentations. Will perform energy audits and recommend upgrades.Specifically:~Provides training through end user seminars and presentations at distributors. Tracks and monitors region demonstration equipment and related support materials. ~Provides technical support to assigned region distributor sales associates and their customers on our product offerings. Responds to a variety of questions on product family, lumen depreciation and product application information. Researches information through other Philips information sources, as required. Acts as a resource on technical support and applications to region distributor sales associates. ~Responds to and investigates select quality complaints at the region/end user level. Coordinates the complaint process from initial investigation to resolution. ~Identifies and performs calls on specifiers located within the region in order to up sell products. ~Provides select end users lighting layouts and energy audits through our premier distribution.
