Education BA degree in Business Administration or Law Enforcement curriculum.

Training Special Skills Working knowledge of computer applications, spreadsheets and basic statistics.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Field Loss Control Consultants are focused on the evaluation and servicing of construction and Middle Market accounts. Highly motivated individual must have analytical skills along with sales & relationship building skills. Broad based knowledge of risk management and loss control technical disciplines. WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

Provide loss control technical consultation and evaluation to underwriting for the selection of new and renewal commercial, multi-line business. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and identifies injury and/or accidental trends to assist underwriters and insured management in making business decisions. Consistently presents clients with the business benefits of loss control & risk management measures. You will provide ongoing technical support to policyholders, producers, and other customers to comply with safety and health regulations, make recommendations that will reduce losses and solve business problems. May be assigned semi cross functional projects that assist our segment partners in meeting goals outlined in both the local loss control and regional office operating plans.

The successful candidate will work as a business consultant, sharing their knowledge and experience to affect positive change in many types of businesses. The consultant will work with our policyholders to improve working conditions, employee safety & health conditions, will make recommendations that protect the life and property of our policyholders and their customers, etc. The consultants knowledge of the individual clients varying industries and businesses is shared with our underwriters and senior management to assist them in making positive business decisions for The Hartford.
