POSITION REQUIREMENTS Job Summary: The Director of Security is expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision, core values, strong ethical business sense and compliance with all laws, rules and regulations of the Catholic Healthcare West.
The person performing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customersatisfaction in the most cost effective manner.
The Director of Security will be responsible for the management, coordination, and development of activities related to security for the St. Rose Dominican Hospital Campuses.
Will assume the responsibility to develop and implement integrated security operations and systems.
Directly responsible for overall departmental operations, budget development, and management of human and capitol resources through continuous evaluation of established guidelines and policies.
Required Experience Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience in the field of security.
Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience required.
Preferred Experience Leadership on EM, EOC and Safety Committees.
Education BA degree in Business Administration or Law Enforcement curriculum.
Training Special Skills Working knowledge of computer applications, spreadsheets and basic statistics.
Knowledge of Windows, advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications.
Director of Security will be required to maintain active membership with: a.
T he International Association for Health Security & Safety, b.
Other related healthcare/security organizations.
Licensure DRV LIC = Valid Driver's License.
