Responsibilities The Referral and Insurance Coordinator facilitates the coordination of behavioral health services in order to meet the needs of our students.

The process involves networking with community behavioral health clinicians and maintaining a reliable referral database.

This position coordinates timely appointments for students with community clinicians including verifying insurance coverage.

The Referral and Insurance Coordinator must demonstrate the ability to solve problems in complex, confidential and urgent situations.

The Referral and Insurance Coordinator serves as a valuable bridge between our students, University Health and Counseling Services staff and the community behavioral health clinicians and should have the ability to establish therapeutic relationships with behavioral/mental health clinicians and students.

This position is also part of the medical leave team and provides guidance to students who choose to take a medical leave of absence from the University.

The position also supports the general business of UHCS.

The position reports to the Health Promotion and Continuing Care Coordinator.

Qualifications College degree in health care related field or at least 5 years experience in case management or in the behavioral health field; demonstrated customer service, communication and organizational skills; familiarity with behavioral/mental health clinical practices and services; knowledge of insurance coverage and claims matters; demonstrated competency with electronic medical records (eClinical Works preferred); Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Job Summary: Prepares and serves cold and hot beverages, light snacks, pastries and cookies to players in the casino area. Works from a mobile food cart and must be able to provide excellent player service during their shift.

Qualifications:
·Six months previous experience in food service is preferred.
·Must have at least six months money-handling and cash register experience.
