Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY Defines, creates and manages platform QA lifecycle processes in the Engineering organization.
This individual will need to manage the processes and strategies within the platform lifecycle for assigned areas.
This position places a heavy emphasis on achieving a quality product by insuring repeatable processes and procedures are followed.
Collaborate within Acadia teams to determine best practices and processes for a high quality product.
Own responsibility for execution of best practices and processes within assigned area.
Provide dashboard and metrics to trend quality.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to take minimal direction and function in a fast paced results oriented organization.
Focuses on working cross functionally with all teams to insure deliverables are met. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with groups both within Engineering and internally within Acadia to define repeatable, measureable processes to insure quality standards are met. Effectively communicate process objectives to team members and stakeholders in a clear manner.
Create and manage document collateral that is needed for both internal and external customers in assigned area of responsibility “Own” the processes that manage engineering changes and release status of components.
Identify and resolve process issues within the team.
SKILLS 12+ years experience leading product/system teams.
Experience with integration/interoperability testing required Strong process management experience and skills Six Sigma/ITIL experience preferred BA/BS Computer science or MIS preferred Cisco UCS/VMware/EMC experience a plus Results driven.
