3. Position OverviewCompletely responsible and accountable for all aspects of release of Tier 1 OEM seating programs (full service supplier type project).

Responsible for budget, schedule timing, product and scope of work expectations responsibilities pursuant to APQP procedures.

Responsible for dayto-day activities of all assigned project team members.

Responsibilities of the position / job description Final responsibility for all deliverables: dayto-day communications, technical reports, drawing release schedule, product tooling, customer milestones, all other project obligations, etc.Manage and direct all internal and external team members/ conduct project review meetings.

Responsible for management of all relevant joint ventures partner activities including production facilitation and full production readiness.

Main and direct customer interface, all areas and departments.

Maintain and manage all customer communications including meeting minutes, customer faxes and letters (tracking with sequential numbering), customer letter of intent and purchase orders, etc.Comply with our client’s North Americas TS16949 policies and procedures.

Write and procedure maintenance as necessary.

Prepare and maintain project plan.

Full tracking and manage MS Project charts including all deliverables and milestone requirements.

Manage and direct all project VA/VE activities and cost reductions.

Determine and maintain final profit and overhead margins.

Maintain program folder (central file for all deliverables and project milestones)Report project status to president and staff.

Responsible to create and maintain executive summary tracking sheet.

Responsible for project cost tracking, capital, tooling expediters, product developments and staffing costs.

Responsible for implementation of program or product changes with all PM functions.

Other duties as assigned.

*Active Security Clearance is necessary*COMSYS is looking for a Systems Engineering Manager (aka – Software Development Manager) for a 6 month contract to hire position in Sierra Vista, Arizona.This is a managerial position responsible for the complete lifecycle management of the systems engineering process. Incumbent will establish a good working rapport with customer technical representatives, assist the customer and facilitate requirements definition, documentation, analysis and traceability. Manage the technical team responsible for the design/engineering of scalable, maintainable and cost effective systems engineering solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.Responsibilities will include:-Interface with key clients to establish the technical direction of significant systems engineering projects and work processes.-Responsible for the design/engineering of scalable, maintainable and cost effective systems engineering solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. Plans and coordinates major system analysis, design, and development from conception to delivery including costing, implementation. Oversees a team which researches, evaluates, and recommends new software solutions and technologies.
