TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM SPECIALISTPosition Overview: We are currently seeking an Technology Systems Specialist to add to our team.

The Technology Systems Specialist performs analysis, diagnosis, and design of both simple and complex networks, with a primary focus on Cisco and other networking technologies.

Specifically, this individual will clearly understand the scope of work for assigned projects, oversee project implementation plans to ensure project is installed on time and within budget, and facilitate customers change requests.

Excellent communication, documentation and organization skills, coupled with a detailed knowledge of assigned data systems and an ability to handle multiple tasks and personalities, are vital to the success of this position.

Additionally, a strong customer service orientation is essential, and required, in building relationships with new and existing customers.The position requires a Bachelors Degree (and/or equivalent work experience) with a minimum of three (3) years industry experience.

Only individuals that have a (Cisco) CCNA, CCDA, or equivalent certification will be considered.

Prior focus on Microsoft technologies or other multi-vendor technologies is highly preferred.

Field Technician: PEQ Services + Solutions

Field Technician Summary of Position: The Field Technician is responsible for supporting PC based computers and related equipment for customers and for providing technical expertise, experience and documentation/project coordination as required to install or repair hardware/software and resolve technical problems.

This position has no supervisory duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following.

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on client PCs using approved methods and processes.

Install hardware and software for clients.

Complete necessary internal and client related documentation as required on a daily basis.

Install/configure/repair network and local printers.

Train clients on basic computer knowledge.

Communicate and interact as required with end users and internal staff.

Qualification / Requirements Intermediate knowledge of PC desktop support.

Intermediate knowledge of local and network printer support.

Basic knowledge of Networking and Windows based servers.

Customer service related experience.

Basic knowledge of ticket based tracking system.

Additional Requirements Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Valid drivers license.

Dependable transportation.

Ability to work some nights and weekends and on call as required.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Employee is responsible to pay for all travel expenses with company reimbursement every two weeks.

Education / Training / Experience Required Minimum of two (2) years experience with Windows 2000/XP OS, Microsoft 2000/XP, PC re-imaging.

Minimum of one (1) year experience with PC and laptop hardware.

Certification in A+ Preferred Certification in Server + or Network + Certification in Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE Certification in Cisco CCNA Certification in Dell Hardware Certification in HP Hardware Certification in IBM/Lenovo Hardware Associate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
