Our client, a thriving sports apparel company, is seeking a Director of Retail Presentation & Marketing is accountable for providing the leadership and direction that will result in the achievement of all sales and profitability goals through the development and execution of in-store visual presentation, windows, sales floor signage and displays in conjunction with the corresponding maps and floor direction for stores.

This is a key role on the Retail leadership team, accountable for the continual success of the division including articulating vision, measuring and developing talent, and ensuring successful operation of teams.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Direct the team responsible for all aspects of the branded store experience including, but not limited to taglines, music and video.

· Collaborate with senior leadership and store organization to ensure follow-through of Brand objectives.

· Conceptualize and execute compelling visual merchandising presentation in stores.

· Develop merchandising guidelines, standards, and protocols that translate the relationship impact of effective merchandising on sales.

· Create and execute quarterly marketing refresh to include windows, hero shots, banners, POP, email blasts, packaging, special collateral and events.

· Manage formal Presentation calendar for creative, sign-off and production processes coordinating with all business partners and holding all parties accountable to the finished product.

· Offer insightful, creative business solutions to seasonal and other projects.

· Control and oversee budget for presentation and marketing.

· Work with the Planning team to appropriately and efficiently plan and allocate resources of store fixture and capacity database.

· Build floor maps for 10-20 new stores annually plus any appropriate retro-fits.

· Manage and maintain relationships with vendors.

· Build high-performing team responsible for the development and support of merchandising standards that ensure timely execution of critical events and procedures.

· Create the environment to drive creative risks and new ways of thinking.

· Manage Retail Presentation team and set both team and individual development goals.

· Coach staff, create development opportunities.

· Drive engagement of Retail Presentation team and foster a collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: · BA/BS degree in a relevant area of study such as visual marketing or merchandising preferred.

· 5-7 years of presentation experience as a senior leader with experience in both outlet and specialty environments.

· Strong analytical skills; the ability to analyze and negotiate vendor agreements.

· Ability to build and develop teams, set challenging standards, and lead others to action.

· Flexibility to shift focus and priorities.

· Proficient in Microsoft office applications.

Knowledge of In Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus.

· Ability to interface with multiple levels of management and cross-functional departments; excellent communication skills and organizational expertise.
