We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our team in either San Diego, CA or New Jersey. The Solutions Consultant will identify, assess, and develop specific opportunities for the Accelrys’ Professional Services group by creating custom solutions for individual customers. Travel to customer sites (at times up to 20%), engaging customers’ technical staff and management in technical-level discussions can be expected.  A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the chemicals, life, or materials sciences fields or a related industry is required. Understanding of enterprise architecture and application development including knowledge of application servers, J2EE, .NET, Linux and clustering technologies, server redundancy, fail-over, clustering, grid technologies, security concerns such as LDAP and single sign-on is desired. Experience working in an environment containing Oracle 8i through 10g is preferred. Distribution Center Supervisor – Henderson Job in Las Vegas 89101, Nevada US

 Hours:  Monday through Friday  10am to 6pm  The Depot Supervisor will be responsible for the following: Coaches and enables work group to efficiently, accurately, and safely complete the customer service requirements as work flows through the production cycle or through the administrative area.  Coaches work group to continually achieve new levels of performance in areas of customer service and team building.  Schedules daily work activities to maximize available resources.  Maintains communication with appropriate stakeholders throughout the facility on key issues and operational activities. The successful candidate will supervise the warehouse areas through planning, analysis, and communication, while they are organizing and achieving daily production goals.  The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for employee safety, holds scheduled warehouse staff meetings, and maintains housekeeping standards.   The ideal candidate will have two to four years of supervisory experience in a distribution facility. Candidates with a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience preferred.  Demonstrated leadership experience includes: leading teams through change, managing employee conflicts and resolution, process and policy procedure implementation. Intermediate level experience in MS Office platform (or software platform in use).Demonstrated success in department relevant software/applications, budgets, and problem solving.Has a strong understanding of the activities and objectives of the work group and associated business processes.Previous experience in a union environment is required.

Position Description:**This is a one-year employment contract position that includes a comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision, and bonus program eligibility). Employment contract could extend beyond one year or could possibly be converted to regular status. Employment contract positions are on the SDG&E payroll and are not third-party contractors**This position analyzes data (routers, switches, content switches, and some Network Security, e.g. Firewall, IDS) requirements, and develops and implements solutions based on business/IT drivers. The position will also perform 2nd level support on data, network security problems, and assist engineering on projects and design as needed. This position also provides support for video conferencing systems.Perfoms Moves, adds, and changes for data systems.Configure Routers, Ethernet Switches, Firewalls, & IDS Systems in support of projects.Provide implementation and problem support for various network security devices like firewalls, Content Switches, etc.Provide 2nd level diagnosis & problem resolution for for Routers, Ethernet Switches, network security devices, and video conferencing systems. Provide test assistance and problem coordination as required.Performs and coordinates system upgrades data systems throughout our enterprise.Provide design and project assistances to Network Engineering on data system implentations across 140 locations throughout Southern California.Lead/Direct small projects and initiatives.Qualifications:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN (routers, Ethernet switches, etc.) systemsStrong knowledge of telecommunications concepts, OSI model, and TCP/IP Internetworking.Strong teamwork skillsMust have the ability to take business requirements and translate into technical solutions. Experience can be comprised of:One to three year of experience with both copper and fiber in-house cabling.Two years of experience working with Ethernet switches and routers.Good analytical skills with proven troubleshooting skills on data systems.One to two years of experience with Network Security systems (Firewalls, IDS, etc.) is desired.Demonstrated experience with large 7 x 24 production environments that cover multiple locations.Recommended Certifications:CCNA Cisco certification desired with CCNP, CCDP, or CCIP preferred.
