Description:
The Pharmacist is responsible for filling prescriptions, verifying doctor information, and assisting the Pharmacy Manager. Provide information concerning medication to customers. Must be flexible and work different schedules to meet customer and store needs. Receive, verify, and accurately fill prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations regarding mandatory consultations with patients and customers on prescriptions and OTC drugs.
Degree in Pharmacy. Detailed knowledge of OTC drugs and laws governing OTC drugs, competent working knowledge of participating local third party plans; thorough knowledge of the Pharmacy Technician Procedure Manual. Licensed Pharmacist in the state where working.
