The IP and Risk Management, AD will be instrumental in creating and implementing all aspects of The Corporate Executive Board’s internal corporate controls. Responsibilities

Job purpose:

The Distribution Clerk will assist with receipt, processing and payment of invoices for materials and services requested or ordered by the Distribution Team. This individual will report to the Director of Domestic Television Distribution.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Receive, sort and date stamp all invoices from vendors. Invoices will be checked to insure they have been addressed and formatted per the specification of Television Distribution.
Check invoices against purchase orders to confirm that they are correct and complete. Check invoices against JDE purchase order system to confirm that they have not already been submitted.
Prepare invoices for supervisors’ approvals. Once approvals are received, code invoices per supervisors’ instructions. If payment requests are needed, the Accounting Clerk will prepare them. If spreadsheets are needed for payment from Amsterdam Office, Accounting Clerk will prepare these as well.
Send invoices to proper payment center. File copies in Distribution Files.
Enter invoice information into JDE system to close purchase orders.
Follow rebilling procedures to re-bill clients when necessary. The supervisor will determine when this is mandated and will provide instructions on how to proceed.
Clean out files every six months.
Generate reports on Distribution’s costs as requested.
Order screeners using JDE for new product as needed by sales offices as well as legal and other misc. requests.
Enter shipping conformation into JDE.
Order office supplies as requested.
Assist with general office work as needed.
