Position Summary:

In conjunction with the VP, Standards and Practices, the Director is responsible for ensuring that all on air content, (programming, promos, commercials) and other broadcast materials comply with regulatory and corporate policies. Continue to develop standards and practices policies for all DCI networks worldwide.

Responsibilities:

1) Review programming content to ensure compliance with Corporate Standards guidelines for both content and branding issues.
2) Enforce company standards with written notes at every stage to programming and production executives, negotiating as necessary.
3) Evaluate programs with intended audience in mind and assign V-Chip/Parental Guideline Ratings
4) Review ad sales solutions deals, and other materials as needed.
5) Review shoots on location, in addition to live events for delay coverage.
6) Assist Comm Ops/DR with commercial clearance of spot and DR ads.
7) Assist with organizational efforts of EAB, Viewer Response, and other S&P functions as needed. 8) Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years Standards & Practices experience in broadcast/cable managerial capacity.
* Strong knowledge of industry broadcast standards
* Regulatory background a plus.
* Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

1. Performs the following client functions:
Performs testing of the mutual fund s compliance in accordance with IRS and SEC requirements, using our exception-based compliance system. Analyzes and researches compliance exceptions and presents suggestions to manager. Reviews fund prospectuses and determines whether any changes are required to compliance control documents.
Prepares the mutual fund s expense budget, using knowledge of client s expense structure and history. Makes recommendations regarding budget changes to manager.
Maintains expense accruals and payment documentation, including periodic expense analysis, annual expense budget, expense rollforwards, and expense cap analysis. Interacts with client with regard to questions on status of invoices and allocations and accrual rates.
Prepares Rule 24f-2 and Form N-SAR regulatory filings; research client questions using SEC filing instructions and internal procedures. Coordinates obtaining data from other IBT departments.
Prepares monthly and quarterly financial information for fund management and Board of Directors.
Calculates fund performance; reviews performance for reasonableness.
Calculates periodic distributions and presents suggested distribution amounts to manager.

2. Complies with internal procedures and specified deadlines

3. Creates client calendars and manage timing of work flow and client deliverables. Uses judgment to escalate any potential concerns about deadlines.

4. Maintains well-documented organized workpapers and client files

5. Other special projects and tasks as assigned
